Early Classifications of the Periodic Table
-Very early in chemistry, chemists saw that certan elments have similar properties. In early classification the elements were organised in two different coloums, metals and nonmetals.
-Some of the first tables were not very organised, but the very first clear, well organised, and easy yo read was Mendeleev'ssystem.

Historical Events
-In the Beginning
The first scintifc discovery of an element occurred in 1649, by Hennig Brand.
-Law of Tiads
Johann Dobeeiner (1817) noticed somthing strange about the atomic weight of Strontium, it fell between the weights of Calcium and Barium. All the elements posesing similar chemical properties. By this law certain elements contain triads of elememnts and the middle element has properties that were averaged by the other two elements by the atomic weight, therfore; where the law of triads comes from.
